The tour combines adventure, history, and breathtaking scenery, making it an excellent option for travelers who want to experience Machu Picchu at a relaxed pace while spending one night in Aguas Calientes.

On the second day, you will have the opportunity to explore Machu Picchu and learn about the history, architecture, and mysteries of this extraordinary Inca citadel before returning to Cusco.

Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes
  • Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. You will travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley, enjoying views of mountains, traditional Andean villages, and agricultural terraces.
  • Depending on the selected service, you may visit some of the main attractions of the Sacred Valley before continuing toward the train station. From there, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, the town located at the foot of Machu Picchu.
  • Upon arrival, you will have time to settle into your hotel and explore the town at your own pace. Aguas Calientes offers restaurants, local handicraft shops, cafés, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
  • Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 2: Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco
  • After breakfast, you will take the bus up to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Your professional guide will accompany you on a guided tour of the archaeological sanctuary.
  • During the visit, you will discover some of the most important areas of Machu Picchu and learn about its history, religious significance, architecture, and connection with the Inca civilization.
  • After the guided tour, you will have some free time to enjoy the incredible surroundings and take photographs, according to the regulations and visiting circuit assigned to your ticket.
  • Later, you will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch on your own before taking the train back toward the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival at the designated train station, transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
  • Arrival in Cusco in the evening.
  • Tourist transportation from Cusco to the train station and back.
  • Round-trip train tickets to and from Aguas Calientes.
